Green LG Energy is the strategic joint venture established on 6 July 2022 in Milan (Italy)

It has among its goals to develop new technologies intended for the production and distribution of LPG derived from renewable sources.

I have taken up the challenge of working on the decarbonization of LPG because I firmly believe in this energy carrier and its qualities since its civilian use in Europe after the end of World War II; the use of organic waste will enable BioLPG to be transformed into a green, cheap, flexible and high-performance energy for both the mobility and the heating and combustion sectors. A goal within reach that will not change our habits because BioLPG will use the LPG infrastructure and supply chain that we are well acquainted with and will ensure ‘survival and rebirth’ for sectors such as automotive and all the industries related to it, so important to the economies of so many states in the world, among them Italy. I offer my experience and global vision of the energy sector gained from decades of work at ENI; To ferry us through this complicated but exciting season, I thank for the trust of the leading LPG market companies from Italy and beyond, who united to give birth to Green LG Energy, which is internationally financing the research and development of BioGPL with CoolLPG technology. I thank them in the knowledge that we are doing great things together for the energy transition and the Italian economy.
